On 10th May, one of our incredible supporters, Shona, will be taking on the challenge of running the Wirral Marathon – all to raise vital funds for our service.
Taking on a marathon is no small feat. It requires months of dedication, training, and determination. Shona has been putting in the miles, pushing herself physically and mentally, all with one goal in mind: to make a difference for survivors of sexual violence across Cheshire & Merseyside.
We’re proud to share that Shona has already exceeded her initial fundraising target of £500 – a fantastic achievement. But she’s not stopping there. Every additional donation will help us continue to provide free, specialist support to those who need it most, including counselling, advocacy, and helpline services.
Fundraisers like Shona play a crucial role in enabling our work. At a time when demand for our services continues to grow, community support helps ensure that survivors can access compassionate, trauma-informed care without barriers.
