Strengthening Community Support Through Corporate Engagement @Legat Owen

We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with local organisations who are generously supporting the work of RASASC Cheshire & Merseyside.

This latest initiative is being led by Legat Owen, who have already demonstrated outstanding commitment to our cause. Through their recent cocktail fundraising event, they have raised almost £6,000, with further plans underway for an ambitious “£40k for 40 years: Walk the Walls” challenge taking place in mid-June.

This level of support plays a vital role in helping ensure that survivors across Cheshire & Merseyside can access specialist, trauma-informed services when they need them most.

Building understanding and impact

Alongside their fundraising efforts, Legat Owen have also shown a strong commitment to staff engagement and awareness-raising. We are please to have been invited to speak about our work with the staff team and share the impact their support really makes on the lives of survivors of sexual abuse.

Why corporate engagement matters

Support from local businesses such as Legat Owen plays a vital role in sustaining our services. Beyond fundraising, these partnerships help raise awareness, challenge stigma, and strengthen understanding of the needs of survivors within the wider community.

We are deeply grateful to every organisation and individual who chooses to stand alongside us in this work.

Looking ahead

We look forward to continuing to build this valued partnership with Legat Owen and to seeing the impact of their upcoming “Walk the Walls” challenge.

Together, we can ensure that survivors continue to have access to compassionate, specialist support—now and in the future.
