On Saturday 11 April 2026, we were delighted to take part in the York Calling Charity Day Out, organised in partnership with Chester City Hays Travel.
The coach trip brought together supporters for a memorable day in the historic city of York, offering participants the chance to enjoy a relaxed day out while also contributing to an important cause. The event combined sightseeing, community connection, and fundraising, with all proceeds helping to support our work across Cheshire & Merseyside.
Passengers spent the day exploring York at their own pace, taking in its rich history, independent shops, cafés, and attractions. The atmosphere on the coach and throughout the day was incredibly positive, with a strong sense of shared purpose and community spirit.
We are especially pleased that the trip was fully booked and able to go ahead as planned, thanks to the enthusiasm and support of everyone who reserved a place. The success of the event highlights the value of bringing people together in support of services that make a real difference in survivors’ lives.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Chester City Hays Travel for organising and running this event. Their dedication, organisation, and continued commitment to supporting our work were instrumental in making the day possible. We are truly grateful for their partnership and for helping to raise vital funds that enable us to continue providing free, specialist, trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
Fundraising initiatives like this are essential in sustaining our services and ensuring we can continue to be there for those who need us most.
We are very thankful to everyone who took part and contributed to making the York Calling Charity Day Out such a success, and we look forward to future opportunities to work together in support of survivors across our region.
