If you or someone you know has experienced sexual abuse or sexual violence, it can be difficult to know where to turn. You are not alone, and what has happened is not your fault. Support and understanding is available, and help can be accessed at your own pace.

Sexual violence can take many forms, including:
  • Rape or sexual assault (recent or non recent)
  • Sexual abuse in childhood or adulthood
  • Online sexual abuse, including sharing intimate images without consent
  • Other forms of sexual behaviour that feel unwanted, unsafe, or controlling

It is important to know that sexual violence is never the survivor’s fault, no matter the circumstances.
